For the especially self-conscious among
us who worry that selfies are reminding
everyone that you're alone, here's a
possible solution: the Selfie Arm.
The device would allow you to snap
photos of yourself so that it looks like
you're holding hands with a well-dressed
gentleman.
Your camera phone would clamp in
around where the elbow would be on the
"arm," but all that's visible in the photo is
the hand you're holding.
The Selfie Arm was designed by artists
Aric Snee and Justin Crowe. It was
featured on Design Boom on Tuesday,
which called it "a sarcastic solution to a
quintessential problem – nobody wants to
look alone while they mindlessly snap
pictures of themselves."
Design Boom also noted that the Selfie
Arm is "fortunately only a prototype."culled
