“Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as.scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement,” the network said in a statement.
This announcement comes days after comments were made by Osbourne’s Fashion Police co-star Giuliana Rancic regarding singer and actress Zendaya’s dreadlocked hair at the Sunday night Oscars. On Monday night’s episode of Fashion Police , Rancic said, “I feel like she smells like patchouli oil and weed,”
about Zendaya’s hair. Osbourne reacted strongly to the comment on social media by tweeting that she might leave the show
because of it and I think she finally made up her mind.
