The resurgence of slogan dressing isn’t
novel— Ashley Williams and Marc by
Marc Jacobs both worked cheeky sayings
into their collections, and it seems that
the trend is hardly dying down. Spotted
out yesterday in New York City, pop star
Rihanna —fresh off a recent trip to
Cuba—took to the rainy streets in a
slinky, sequined dress that truly sent a
message.
Bad Gal RiRi came out in full force in
the Discount Universe dress emblazoned
with the words You Will Never Own Me,
a not-so-subtle nod to her devil-may-
care approach to life, and fashion.
